A few years ago I began the arduous process of getting to the foundation of what I believed. Piece by piece I began the deconstruction of my faith, and at the end of the day I had more questions than answers, more mystery than facts, and more doubts than certainty. But it was at that time I began to paint the ‘Heart & Skull’ series, which serves as travel logs and is there to be a reminder to hope, regardless of where we are in our journey.
